The A/B test: higher ROAS thanks to award integration on social media
Socks are not a classic high-involvement product. After the first successful sales, SNOCKS was therefore primarily focused on building up the SNOCKS brand. The goal: to achieve as much marketing power as possible with as little money as possible.
The Trusted Shops Award shows potential customers what the company stands for at a glance: SNOCKS has offered its customers a great shopping experience for many years by proving their reliability with the best service. In order to quantify the benefits of the Trusted Shops Awards, SNOCKS ran A/B tests to measure the ROAS impact of integrating the award into their ads.

The Excellent Shop Award from Trusted Shops led to an increase in ROAS in social media campaigns.
The successful A/B test has confirmed how effective the Excellent Shop Award can be in advertising campaigns. With such a clear and measurable impact on ad performance, SNOCKS has decided to regularly integrate the award in future social media ads in the future.

With over 100 employees, SNOCKS GmbH sells socks and underwear in its own online store and various marketplaces.
The mission: to be the lifestyle brand for basic fashion. The majority of their €50+ million turnover (2023) is still generated in Germany, but internationalisation is already in full swing: SNOCKS is currently expanding into the markets of France, Spain, Poland, the Czechia, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey, the Emirates, the UK, and the USA. SNOCKS is based in Mannheim, Germany.
The German online store has 5.8 million users, and SNOCKS has more than 115,000 followers on social media.
SNOCKS' core competencies include comprehensive sustainability, clean design and, of course, quality. This has enabled a real novelty in the market: the SNOCKS “anti-hole-guarantee”. If socks or underpants have a hole within 6 months, the product will be replaced free of charge.

The Trustmark allows potential customers to recognise that this is an audited online shop - this creates trust and increases the conversion rate and shopping basket value.

In addition to the seal, the Trustbadge shows the overall score from all customer reviews. This makes it clear at a glance how other shoppers view the online shop. If consumers would like further insights, they can access the shop profile with all reviews by clicking on it.

In order to convince undecided customers to make a purchase, the Trustbadge makes the advantage of the Buyer Protection visible at a glance.
